Royal Troon Golf Club, located on the west coast of Scotland, is an iconic links course that has hosted The Open Championship nine times, most recently in 2016. The 18-hole Old Course has a par of 71 and stretches 7,175 yards. Established in 1878, Royal Troon is known for its challenging bunkers and the infamous par-3 8th hole, known as the “Postage Stamp,” one of the shortest yet most difficult holes in major championship golf. Past winners at Troon include Henrik Stenson (2016), Tom Watson (1982), and Arnold Palmer (1962).

The club is easily accessible from the A78 and is located near the town of Troon, with nearby attractions including Culzean Castle and the beautiful Ayrshire coastline.
