Another of Sheffields municipal gof courses. Birley Wood is an undulating parkland course with some scenic views of the surrounding countryside.
Excellent drainage makes this a good all year round course which very rarely closes.
A short but tricky 18 hole par 69 measuring 5521 yards.
Free parking and meals served from the adjacent Fairways Pub.
Buggy, trolley and club hire available from the shop which has an extensive range of golf equipment for sale.
Societies welcome by prior arrangement.
