Part of the Crown Group of golf clubs (32 courses) The Chase Golf Club is situated in the lovely rolling hills of Staffordshire just adjacent to the beautiful Cannock Chase. Visitors are always welcome and can not only enjoy the course, but also the extensive menu that is available in the bar or for larger parties a full a la carte menu is available in the Atrium suite. There is an extensive range of goods available in our Professional’s shop along with advice from Michael Beaumont, our Head Professional and his team, as well as a soon to be refurbished and extended Men’s changing facilities. The Course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland course and whilst first impressions may give rise to the belief that this is a rather benign course, play reveals a very challenging 6641 yards off the White tees. There are forward tees with the Yellow Course measuring 6395 yards and a measured winter course of 5163 yards. The holes offer a great deal of variety. There are 4 very challenging par 5’s to test the golfers long game and concludes with our signature par 3 18th hole which includes a particularly intimidating water hazard, out-of-bounds to the right and a small elevated green. Not a lot for a golfer to aim for but enough to break your round at the very death. All this within full view of fellow golfers enjoying a relaxing time in The Clubhouse! Whilst water only comes into play on 2 of the holes, strategically placed bunkers and rough can catch wayward shots so there is a premium on keeping the ball straight. The frequent windy conditions make this a most interesting course to play.
