Good challenge with great views

My first visit to this Wiltshire downland course, and a successful one at that - I managed to win the 2013 Seniors Open (40 points)! The clubhouse and facilities are modest but the Pro and his shop have a vg reputation. The course itself is quite undulating with a few sloping fairways but some of the views from the elevated holes are spectacular. The par3s are very challenging although luckily for me this is where I made my score. All in good condition. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit if you are in the area.

If you are in the area. Try it!

This course is hilly and with some sloping fairways. Great views from top of course. Greens were very good and the fairways quite tight, depending where the tees were set. The course lies on the A342 Andover to Devizes road. If you are lucky you might get the £10 special offer.
