Part of the Crown Group of golf clubs (32 courses) The Vale was originally developed and officially opened by the Rimell Family in 1991, who were predominantly from a horse racing background. However, Mary’s father Sir William Lyons who was the founder of Jaguar cars in nearby Coventry and was a very keen golfer. Like the Jaguar Cars, The Vale Golf Club is committed to delivering excellent quality and service and this is reflected in the main Sir William Lyons Suite. The present owners bought the club in 1997 and have continued to invest time and money to ensure that The Vale remains one of the Midland’s premier golf venues. Here golfers and guests can experience fantastic golf, excellent conference and banqueting facilities and a relaxing atmosphere in which to relax and entertain. With fantastic views over the Malvern and Bredon Hills the course is situated in a natural amphitheatre which works through mature woodland while taking in all of the breath taking scenery. Whilst the club is known best for the 18 Hole International Course there is also a fantastic 9 hole course. Lying in the middle of the course is the Club house that offers not only wonderful food and drink, but also has impressive business and function facilities capable of staging anything from boardroom meetings to large banquets. In the Clubhouse we can provide hospitality and catering for all atmospheres. With a relaxed Club Bar offering bar meals to our Sir William Lyons function suite offering a delicious array of food and drink in relaxing surroundings with views over looking the course The Vale Golf Club has everything you need to have a fantastic experience. The International Course is best described as parkland challenge which is considered to be one of the Midland’s premier courses. Already established as a competition venue the course has in the past held the Midland’s Open and is a regular venue for County Matches. Our beautiful par 74 course offers a challenge that every golfer will relish. As the course meanders through the rolling countryside you will be treated to a fantastic golf experience with plenty of trees and water on the course.

Plenty of parking.
Pro shop personnel seem to be a bit aloof, almost to the point of who's disturbing us now, oh some other pleb.
The course is in good condition if sometimes elusive because lack of directional markers.
After golf facilities average and possibly on the high price side.
A group of you could have a nice day here.
Don't play on your own.
