Great Course well worth a visit...

The course was in excellent condition for February, looking forward to returning in spring especially to play the massive greens that look to have many undulations that will test any golfers putting skills.. The course itself is well laid out with no two holes the same, none of this up and down like many courses. The bunkers and hazards are well placed so a bad shot or wrong club selection can easily trap you, but a wayward shot off the fairway can be easily found as the rough is short, just enough to punish you but not cost you time in looking for ball...

All in all its a great course what I call value for money, the clubhouse too was welcoming and the food was excellent. The driving range is great for warming up, buggies are reasonably priced but the course is an easy walk.. Perfectly located just off the A1 at Pontefract this course is a MUST play...
