Generally flat with a few bunkers and water on some holes. Challenging for the enviornment yet an enjoyable layout. Prefab greens as at this time the moose and bears would make real greens impossible to keep up with in repair. No tee times necessary, just show up , with the exception of cruise ship day when you may have to wait for a foursome or two to tee off. As each year passes the course has filled in very well and the scenic background is breath taking looking from the salt water straight up to 6,000 foot snow covered peaks. Alaskans who golf take it seriously and rain and wind don't seem to deter us. That's what raingear is for when not being used on the boat. Special footwear is often used due to ground moisture. "X-tra Tuffs" or standard rubber fishing boots as they are in reality. If you haven't golfed in Alaska or with Alaskans , you're in for a friendly great time.
