Is now closed due to stupidity of management and greed of Delaware Builder Toll Brothers.Delaware National Country Club, situated in pretty countryside to the West of Wilmington, opened in 1937.
The 18 hole, Par 73 course was originally designed by Alfred H. Tull with some subsequent revisions. As you would expect it is amature course. The clever design, making full use of the naturally winding, undulating countryside means that you never see more than the hole you are playing plus perhaps one other.
The coursewill challenge even the best players and yet the clever design, with multiple tee choices, means thatit is not harshly penal andsafe play optionsare available at every hole.
Delaware National Golf Courseis always well maintained and will provide players of all ability witha funand challenging round which will definteily test theircourse management skills and will require every club in their bag.
