Bay Hill Club & Lodge opened in1961 but was substantially updated when bought by Arnold Palmer in 1976 (the club still claim that Arnold Palmer plays there often).
The Bay Hill Club Championship Course is Par 72, 7200 yard 18 hole courseoff the back tees for a Rating of 75.1 and a Slope of 139. However, althoughundoubtedly challenging the use of multiple tee positions and the fact there are noblind shots makes the course enjoyable for players of all ability levels.
Beautiful lakes are situated throughout the course adding to the beautyand creating water hazards that come into play on a few holes. Bay Hillhas fairways and greens of Bermuda grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
