Black Bear Golf Club was built in 1995. It has fairways of bermuda grass and greens of tifdwarf grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers. Visitors are welcome.

one excellent course

I'd heard good things about this course, and it didn't let me down in the slightest.

The course is very undulating and finding fairways is something you're going to want to do, because the greens are pretty much all raised and protected by mean, mean bunkers. Not that the greens are that friendly either, with lots of slopes making two putts just that little bit harder.

This is a course that's well worth making the trip for.
