It is designed with the Scottish links-style in mind, so there are few trees but plenty of water hazards.
Many holes were designed to play alongside the ocean.
Most of the greens and tees are slightly elevated, and the terrain is predominantly flat, but there is a ridge of mounding that comes into play in the middle of the course.
The greens are somewhat large, undulating and reasonably fast.
he signature hole is #18, a 417-yard, par 4, which borders the ocean.
