TPC Louisiana, opened in 2004, was recently voted 4th in category of 'Best Upscale Public Golf Course.
The course, laid out on 250 acres of gently rolling land across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, was designed by Pete Dye with assistance from PGA Tour players Steve Elkington and New Orleans native Kelly Gibson.
The gently rolling landscape, numerous wetland areas plusstands of cypruss and oak trees provide a peaceful and picturesque setting, but don't be fooled the coursehas been cleverly designed with four sets of tees to offer a challenge to even the bestgolfers without unduly penalising the less gifted player.
The course is always maintained to an excellent standard and visitors are welcome (contact club to make arrangements).
