DESCRIPTION:

Stonegate Golf Clubis the centre piece of aresidential development set on the edge of the Huron-Manistee National Park which extends along the northern lower peninsula of Michigin.

The course, whilst still young, was desinged to blend with the natural terrain and has been developed to a high standard. As a consequence the Championship length courseoffers a great test of golf to even the best of golfers without unduly penalising the less gifted player.

Visitors are always welcome and the club offers weekday specials and season passes.

Beauty, but no Beast!

This course has been carved out of the depths of the Manistee National Forest. Building sites and the course layout have been carefully constructed to provide a challenging game, with minimal impact on the wetlands and abundant wildlife in the area.

We have played the course a number of times and are slowly learning the landing zones. Stonegate is playable by any level golfer -- good golfers have more than enough challenges to keep them coming back and lesser players (like me!) just have to bring enough balls to keep play flowing!

The beauty of the course, the chance of seeing deer, or a fox at play are enough to bring you back. The high quality of the course is a bonus.........
