Grandfather Golf and Country Club is a private member-owned and controlled club. It lies at the base of scenic Grandfather Mountain, highest peak in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. It has two 18-hole golf courses, one championship and one executive, each designed by Ellis Maples. The championship course is consistently ranked as the finest mountain course in the Carolinas.
