Shale Creek Golf Club,, located minutes from I-71 was opened in 2006 as the centrepiece of a residential development. The 18 hole, 7000 yard, Par 71, Parkland Course was designed by Brian Huntley to take full advantage of the beautifull rolling terrain the area had to offer. Thefairways meander their way across beautiful rolling landwhich is crossed by several small streams and edged by the Rocky River.
the course is a beauty and is capable of offering a challenge to even the most accomplished of golfers, howeverthe use of five tee positions means that the course can also be enjoyed by the lessskilled golfer.
The course has fairways, tees and greens of Bent grass, lots of bunkers and water in play on several ofthe holes.
