Wanango GolfClub has a rich history as a golf and country club.
The clubs's 18 hole parkland course wasoriginally designed by Donald Ross andopenedin 1914. A.W Tillinghast subsequently remodleed part ofthe course to give the design whichhas largely survived to this day.
The course is always well maintained and theexcellent clubhouse facilities, with informal and formal areas overlooking the 18th green, offer facilities to complement the course.
The course is rolling parkland layout with a few strategically placedbunkers tochallenge the round. It has fairways of winter rye and greens of bent grass.
Originally built as a private members club the facility is now under new management and open to the public. Contact club to make arrangements to play.
