Greenville Country Club was built in 1970. It has fairways of bermuda grass and greens of bent grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
With two championship courses, Riverside and Chanticleer this club is a year round delight.
The Chanticleer course is privately situated from the rest of the club as a golf-only facility. The course offers beautiful and challenging golf opportunites with rolling fairways, towering hardwoods and pines, white sand and gently flowing creeks along with some of the most challenging greens in the nation.
The Riverside course weaves along the Reedy and adjoins the club's main facilities. The course was completely re-designed in 2006 and upon re-opening in 2007 received rave reviews.
