River Golf Club, North Augusta wasdesigned by Jim Fazio and built in 1998.
Laid out on flat land on the north side of the Savannah River (the State boundary betweenGeorgia and South Carolina) the clever Fazio design has delivered a fantastic course layout in a spectacular setting. The wide, lush green, tree linedfairways lead to large, undulating and well protected greens. Water is in play on 14holes and the course Rating of Par + 2 and the Slope Rating of 129 are well deserved.
A great course offering a great challenge to even the most accomplished golfer. However, the use of five tee positions means the course can be enjoyed by even less gifted golfers.
The River Golf Clubhas fairways of Bermuda grass and greens of Bent grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
The course is golf buggy only (no walking).
