Designed by Lester George and Robert Wrenn and built in 1995, The Colonial Golf Course is an excellently maintained players course.
The picturesque course winds through hardwood forests and tidal marshes, framed by native laurel and other indigenous species - and there is not a condo or residence in sight...justpeace and solitude.
The Colonial hosts one of the most visually breathtaking par 3's in the Williamsburg area, nicknamed The Abyss. It is a forced carry over a marshland to a heavily sloped green. It is a challenge for anyone and everyone.
The Colonial offers the ammenities of a private club, including valet golf club attendants, club cleaning, complete practice range facility, golf schools, 3 hole practice course, course beverage service and a full service restaurant and bar.
