DESCRIPTION:

"Perry's Landing" golf course at the Kastle Greens Golf facility in Marion, Wisconsin was designed by Al Nero and Richard Reinhard and opened in 1998.

Set on the Northern side of Marions Pond, a large lake to the West of Marion, the course has a spacious design which means the holes are well separated and you are not aware of golfers on other holes.

The rolling, tree lined fairways are reasonably generous and the greens are a fair size. Wter, and what bunkers there are, have been strategically incorporated into the course to trap the unwary but the main challenge is presented by the natural terrain (fairways winding in and out of valleys and through the pine trees).

The fairways are of bluegrass and the greens of bent grass.

Perry's Landing

Perry's Landing in Marion, Wis. has had a bad reputation in the past because of poor greens keeping. Now, under new ownership the course is in good shape and fun, It is not a real easy course and offers a nice challenge to any golfer. The clubhouse is neat and clean and friendly people working there. Sandwiches are available and it offers a liquor bar. Prices are reasonable and local golfers are friendly and will welcome anyone. Get a couple groups together and call 715-754-5667 for a Tee time of fun.
