This Society meets up twice a year at Upchurch River Valley Golf Club or Deangate Ridge Golf Club in Kent, once in the Summer and once October time. The Summer Golf Day is a Celebrity Charity Event and I have been running this for 9 years now. The 2014 event will take place on Wednesday 23rd July and, if it is anything like 2013, it will be a fantastic day. Celebrities included, Footballer, Neil "Razor" Ruddock, Pro Golfer, Paul Way, Comedian, Bobby Davro, Page 3 Model, Leah Newman, Footballer, Nicky Southall, 60's Pop Icon, Jess Conrad OBE, Eastenders "Nick Cotton", John Altman, "Frost" actor, John Lyons, etc.
The cost for the day is £75 per person or £90 per person to play with a celebrity for 18 holes. This price includes Full English Breakfast, 9 hole Team Texas Scramble in the morning, then cold meat lunch, putting competition, 18 hole Individual Stableford in the afternoon, then a 3 course Evening Charity Gala Dinner with a host of celebrities in attendance and loads of live entertainment which, last year, included Bobby Davro bringing the house down.
