Houlgate Golf course,designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis, is situated in the middle of an ancient forest. The course, laid out in the original grounds of the chateau,is a hilly and picturesqueparkland layout offering views towards the English Channel from the top most holes.It is a particularly varied course withhedge lined fairways giving way to water hazards, some holes quite hilly and others relatively flat. Always well maintained and offering a challenge to golfers of all ability.
