Noida Golf Club,close toDelhi,was set up by the Noida Authority (statutory body of Uttar Pradesh government) on January 7, 1990.
Although set out on only 97 acres of land the course is ofChampionship length and thewell designed,tree lined fairways provide a feeling of a course with much more space.
The course makes clever use of water hazards and strategically placed bunkering to add provide a challenge to even the most accomplished of golfer without unduly penalising the less skilled player.
The Course has withinits precinct a historical monument which marks the spot where the Battle of Delhi between the forces of Maratha and the British was fought in 1803. The mound on which this monument stands serves asthe elevated Championship teefor the 16th hole.
