Faithlegg Golf Club

Faithlegg GC is a par 72 parkland course on the outskirts of Waterford City, Ireland; overlooking the River Suir.
There is a 4* hotel at the course for stay and play visitors which is separate from the clubhouse.
The SSS from the Blue Competition tees is 73, whereas it is 72 from the White members tees. There are 4 par 3s; 10 par 4s and 4 par 5s.
The course and greens were in excellent playing condition. However,
on my most recent playing of the course in October 2018 the course condition was not as much to my liking in that the fairways were overly long making the course play long.
The course has hosted the Euro Pro Tour competition on three occasions.
I entered one of the club's Seniors Open Competitions with an entry fee of 20 Euro. Excellent VFM.

A negative factor this visit was that the club bar was not open when I finished my round at about 15.30. Possibly use could have been made of the hotel bar!
