DESCRIPTION:

Built in 2001 to full USPGA specifications, Desert Springs was designed by Peter McEvoy asthe first 'Desert' style golf course in Europe.

The course is reminiscent of the desert courses of Arizona.

Always well maintained, the course haswide fairways lined and crossed by rocky outcrops and large desert areas complete with cacti and scrub.

Off the back tees this 18 hole layoutstretches to6,200 metres(5200 metres off the front tees)and it can offer a challenge to the most accomplished of golfers. However, the bunker placement and positioning of hazards means that playingt from the yellow tees is less intimidating allowing the course to be enjoyed by golfers of differing levels of ability.

Visitors are always welcome. contact club to make arrangements.

A great new facility

Played here a few times and it's always great - clubhouse offers everything you want/need, course is desert in nature with sand areas lining most fairways so very interesting to play (challenging enough but not too hard) and it's always well maintained. You can get discounted tee times via the local booking agents and the course is never too busy. So well worth checking out if you're int he area.
