DESCRIPTION:

Valle del Este Golf Resort, which opened in 2002,is set just inland from the Mediterranean coast at Mojacar.

The resort offers everything you could want including a 4* hotel, luxury villas, leisure facilities and a large welcoming golf clubhouse.

The course itself is always immaculately maintained and designed to take full advantageof the undulating naturalterrain toprovide a course which is intesting andalways challenging.

The small, circular, elevated tees and the desert like carries makeevery pin a challenge but the numerous pin positions, plus the 'bail out' areas mean the course can be equally enjoyed by the less gifted golfer.

And, even if your golf isn't at its best, the desert like landscapeof Almeria with occasional glimpses of the Mediterranean and the folds of the terrain make the course avisual treat.

Visitors are always welcome. Contact club to make arrangements.

Definitely one to play if you're in the area

Played here a couple of years ago when visiting a friend who lived in Mojacar. the clubhouse is great with friendly staff and offering an excellent range of well priced menu options.
The course itself is visually interesting with elevated tees and wide rolling fairways but the forced carries across the desert areas can be a bit intimidating and sometimes it seemed that your choice was bunker or lake! However, don't be put off this is a great course which is well maintained and excellent value (I think we paid €50).
