Designed by Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1998 Alicante Golf Club is set on flat land on the northern outskirts ofAlicante City (close to the7km long San Juan beach).
Largely man-made because of the flat terrain, the course incorporateslakes and artificial rivers into the design to add a level of difficulty expected of a Seve degined course.
Thecourse hassix par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's. ThePar is 72 but the difficulty rating is 74 which probably says it all.
It is a gentle course to walkand its flatness means that thehazardscan be easily seen.
