El Plantío, designed by Manuel Ferri Sanchez, originally opened as a 9 hole course in 1993 but was extended to a full 18 hole design in 2000.
The course designincluded the integration of 3 lakes andplanting of 33,000 trees which are now maturing nicely to give acourse which isvaried, interesting and always well maintained. The absence of building construction also adds to the feeling of a verypeaceful course.
In addition to teh Championship length, testing 18 hole course El Plantio also offers a 9 hole Par 3 course to hone your short game.
