DESCRIPTION:

Ashridge Artisans Golf Club, established in 1952, is a private members’ club located within the prestigious Ashridge Golf Club estate in Hertfordshire. The club is situated close to the A41 and a stone’s throw from the National Trust’s Ashridge Estate, a historic parkland. The 18-hole, par 72 course was designed by Harry Colt and offers a challenging layout over 7,000 yards, making it one of the longest courses in the region. Ashridge is known for its tree-lined fairways, fast greens, and picturesque setting, with several holes weaving through ancient woodland.

The club has hosted numerous prestigious events over the years, including regional and national amateur competitions. Despite its elite reputation, the Artisans section of the club maintains a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere. With its rich history, exceptional course, and beautiful surroundings, Ashridge Artisans Golf Club continues to be a highly regarded golfing destination for those seeking both a challenge and a tranquil environment.
