Great value for money !!

Tilsworth is a great little course ! Good value for money fairways are in great condition , some of the greens have seen better days due to wet weather and tree fell but still playable

would play here for casual rounds and beginner golfers due to most of the course being very wide, but concentrate on where you are playing your next hole as some of the tees are next to each other and can get confusing in the mid section of the course

Good value

Not the greatest course in the world, but nowhere near a poor one.

Played here several times with little complaint.

Beware cardiac hill - either leave the trolley and take the clubs you need, take a buggy (best bet) or use an electric trolley.

Can be exceptionally slippery after a lot of poor weather.

Having paid more money elsewhere for inferior facilities, I would say I'll be back many more times in the future.

Tilsworth Golf course

Played on the 10th december. very cold but managed to play the 18 holes.
Only complaint was there was alot of walking between holes. Especilly between the 7th and the 8th.
Hole No 5 not for the faint hearted suggest they install oxygen mask at the top of the hill and it is only a par4.
Played of of few mats and parts were very wet. Would love to play the cours in the dry season. Oly other complain was the 1st straight into a par 5 stroke index 1
Thanks to Mark for the enjoyable game

Twilight £10

It's been a while since I've played Tilsworth, my local value golf course; and it's been a while since I've seen the fairways looking so green. Currently twilight starts mid-week at 14:00 but as we tee off at 17:00 there are few people on the course resulting in a round within 3 hours.

The course is tight in places with fairways running next to each other with little to divide them. The hill covering the far end of the course provides some interesting and challenging holes. The 240 yard 'cardiac hill' may make you regret not opting for a battery powered trolley.

Whilst the bunkers are sometimes thin, and the course may leave low handicappers (not me) in need of more of a challenge, it's a good course for the price.
