Superb course

Played here as part of a works conference. What a gem this course is. Beautiful layout and lush fairways and fantastic greens. You need to manage your way round the course as it is very challenging with tight fairways in some places. You do not need to use the driver on most of the holes. Position is best and the more you keep it on the fairway off the tee the better you will score. Position is everything on here.

Great practice facilities so use an hour before teeing off to warm up. Well worth it.

Great clubhouse and very friendly staff throughout.

Definitely would love to come back here and play again. An absolute gem of a course.

See if you can befriend a member!!

Bearwood Lakes is an absolutely fantastic golf course and if you ever get the opportunity to play there, grab it with both hands.
Unfortunately, the only way to get a game is as the guest of a member, so if you ever come across one, treasure them lol!
The club is "monied" but it has never had that feel to it. The members that I have met have always been very friendly and welcoming, and the overall feel of the course is the same.
Plenty of stand out holes, and always in absolutely immaculate condition, as you would expect, with some of the best greens I have ever putted on.
Quite a few changes have been carried out over the last few years, with a few more in the pipeline, but they have been carried out sympathetically, and add to the overall beauty of the course.
Seriously, this is one of the best, if not THE best, newish course in the Country.
Highly recommended.

A glimpse of this haven of peace & outstanding beauty.......

This is one of my Preview....

I had a golf meeting at Bearwood Lakes and it has captured my heart & soul.

Will play the course sometimes this summer after Wentworth, Marrakesh and all other activities planned in my busy diary.

It is a private members club where you are made to feel welcome from the Proshop to the members bar: I was even offered to share a Glass of Wine with one of the member whose birthday it was...... celebrating before his round as the weather was rather unclement out there but the course did look splendid.

Watch for my updates.....

THE END.....
