lovely course

West Hill is a lovely heathland course set among pines with a profusion of Heather. bunkers are well maintained and fairways excellent. tee boxes well maintained and flat. greens had been worked on recently so not so good condition. no doubt they are superb normally. recommended but very pricey normally.

West Hill is a lovely course : not cheap but if you get a chance to play I would. As a 30 handicapper I found it tough but enjoyed it

The Best course I have ever played...
If you ever get a chance to play it grab it .. .
Not the most difficult but the setting and the attention to detail is amazing

good course a must to play

lucky enough to play here with a member for £30.
The course is mainly tree lined with lots of Heather for your ball to go in.
A well maintained course looks very pretty to play.Tee boxes were better than some greens I have played on.
Greens were superb and very true with lots of borrows on them as well.

NICE ENOUGH

West Hill is the youngest of the trinity of "Ws" (Woking & Worplesdon being the others) located in this area of Surrey. The course is on undulating sandy ground and the fairways are tight, being lined with pine, birch and heather. The greens were in beautiful condition when I played. Reasonably gentle off the "yellows" and an enjoyable walk. Nice clubhouse and pro shop. Currently ranked as 29th best course in England, I would not place it this high but well worth a visit nevertheless. Twilight rate is £40 after 3.00.
