DESCRIPTION:

Chesham & Ley Hill Golf Club, established in 1900, prides itself on the quality of its mature and challenging course, set amongst woodlands of the Chiltern Hills.

The course, where every hole is tree lined, is recognised as one of the best nine hole courses in the area.

Accurancy is a must as any off line shot is usually blocked by trees, scrub or gorse. This makes the course a tough but fair test to all levels of golfers.

The Clubhouse is operated by our friendly bar and catering staff offering a wide range of food and drinks. Opening times are in line with normal licensing hours although the kitchen is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Visitors are welcome at the club but times are restricted. See website or contact club for details.

Tight(ish)Fantastic

Tree lined - was warned that I should leave the driver at home as it was a tight tree lined course. To be honest was not looking forward to round that much....

....glad I took the driver, and yes, it is a tight(ish) course, and well worth a visit. It's a members club and for the resources they have it's a lovely place to visit. Give it a go if you get the chance.
