Durham City Golf Club is classified as one of England's oldest inland clubs having been inaugurated in 1887. However, the club has only been at its present site at Littleburn only since 1974. The course is a delightful meadowland course laid out along the banks of the River Browney. At nearly 6,400 yards, and with water frequently in play, the course offers a challenge to all abilities of golfer. Visitors are always assured a warm welcome at the club.
