Parkland course with beautiful views over Loch Ryan to Ailsa Craig, Arran and beyond. Several notable holes include the 3rd, where a winding burn is crossed three times to a green set between a large bunker and a steep bank sloping down to the burn; the scenic 5th with spectacular views; the 11th requiring a demanding tee shot with trees and out of bounds to the left, then a steep rise to a very fast green. The 15th is a difficult par 3 where accuracy is paramount with ground sloping either side of the green.
