The Old Course at St Andrews, located in Fife, Scotland, is perhaps the most famous golf course in the world and has hosted The Open Championship 29 times, more than any other venue, with the most recent in 2022. The 18-hole course has a par of 72 and stretches 7,305 yards. Known as the “Home of Golf,” the Old Course has been in existence for over 600 years, with its double greens, deep bunkers, and iconic Swilcan Bridge attracting golfers from around the globe. Past Open champions at St Andrews include Tiger Woods (2000, 2005), Zach Johnson (2015), and Jack Nicklaus (1970, 1978).
