Good, reliable, interesting course

Whitefield is a course me and my friends return to time and time again, tee availability at weekends is good for visitors and staff friendly, manage times well so never too pressured.

Course layout is fairly undulating. The first few holes are flat up and downs, not hugely inspiring but good to brush off the cobwebs. Past hole 4 it gets more interesting and some of the holes are really tasty, some tight unforgiving tee offs then some really open ones to let the driver rip!

Overall it's a good course and one that has us returning. One of the better courses in this part of north Manchester.

Good parkland Course

Whitefield is a well-maintained parkland course with a variety of holes , It was quite wet when we played following heavy overnight rain but in good conditions is a pleasure to play . The front 9 is relatively short with plenty of chances to make a good score , but after hole 10
the course becomes distinctly tougher and is a challenge for the better golfer. Of particular note are the Par 3s which are long and difficult .
