Society day

Never played here before. Some strange hole layouts to play. Overall course was in good condition considering the amount of rain we have had. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back and play there.

Challenging worth playing

A good mature tree line parkland course which had an easy walk to it.
With undulating fairways, fairway bunker, lateral ditches and some tight tree line fairways.
Course management comes into play on a lot of the holes.
The 1st9 holes tee boxes generally had a pond in front of it, which can make it a bit off putting when driving off the tee.
Sadly due to the hot/dry summer of 2018 the course was suffering. Would give more?
Practise chipping/ putting green. Driving field. No golf ball washers.
Friendly staff but not much more! Formerly known as “North West National”
We paid £20 for a Friday 1:30 tee off a bit pricey.
Overall a good challenge, definitely worth playing, I would come back
