DESCRIPTION:

College Pines Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole, par 73 heathland course situated within the Sherwood Forest area of Nottinghamshire. Opened in 1994, the course spans 250 acres and is known for its wide, undulating fairways, well-placed bunkers, and large, fast greens. The course offers a challenging test for all levels of golfers, with the signature hole being the par-3 15th, which requires a precise tee shot over a water feature.

College Pines is located near Worksop and is easily accessible via the A57.

The proximity to Clumber Park and the historic Sherwood Forest makes it an ideal destination for golfers seeking both sport and natural beauty. Visitors can explore the area’s woodlands and walking trails, adding to the overall experience.

College Pines Golf Club

Course is built on sand like most of Worksop area and therefore extremely dry and hard. In summer it would be better to play on Tesco's Car Park. Its one positive is that it does have a driving range that is played on grass and not mats. Green Fees are extremely over priced for quality of course. But this is just my opinion.
