Great Course - Great Clubhouse.

Firsttime of playing there. Course was in great condition despite the amount of rain we have had. The course is a good challenge and played well. The clubhouse offered good food options and the breakfast was great. Will definitely be going back again.

Looking Good !

The Ridge did down hill a bit in the last 2 or 3 years but now have taken on a large crew of green-keepers and investing some money. Course is looking very nice indeed , greens a bit quick but now well worth a visit to play or join as member .

not in as good condition as it was 8 years ago, fairways long greens patchy but still worth playing as quite a tricky course with undulating greens

Not a fantastic course but superb for the money

Played The Ridge Golf Club on a sunny Thursday at the end of a dry spell at their discount rate of £18 (normally £23 midweek).

It's a short course (5950 yards off the yellow, 6,200 off the whites) with an interesting mix of holes and tree lined fairways and well protected greens.

Lots of dog-leg holes so it really pays to know the course (several of them you can easily take on with a reasonable drive) plus when I played the fairways were like concrete and drives, if you hit the fairway, were very good for the ego (300 yard drive not unusual) so some holes were defintely driveable. The greens had been watered and so although hard (more than a 9 iron wouldn't hold) they were very good and ran true for the putts.

All in all, great value for money (£18!), quite pretty with one or two fantastic views across the weald of Kent, well maintained and a great course for a society or a group who want a noce course at great value.

A think your way round type course

Nice course, need to think your way round and leave the driver at home, a lot of dog legs, greens well protected by bunkers and narrow entry's very good value for money play a t/light at £12. will pay it another visit as its well worth it.

Ridge golf club

What a gem of a course. It was in good condition and a joy to play.Do not have to be a big hitter just straight ..staff where friendly and was greeted on the 9th green by the owner in a buggy selling coffee and bacon rolls...Its hard to believe that this course is only 16years or so old..would recommend to everyone to go and play here...
