DESCRIPTION:

Highlands Reserve Golf Course is not your typical Orlando course. Built in 1999 it sits on top one of the highest areas in Florida and offers far reaching views across beautiful scenery.

This championship lengthMike Dasher design combineswide pine tree lined fairways more reminiscent of the Carolina than Florida,a hint of the feel of aScottish links course and typical Orlando citrus tree countryside to create a challenging but funcourse for golfers of all ability level.

The quality of the course is reflected in the fact that Highland Reserve Golf Club was nominated as one of the 'Top 50 Golf Courses, 2002' by Golf For Women Magazine and give 3.5 Starsin Golf Digest's 'Places to Play' Guide.

Visitors are welcome and the club offers an online booking service via their website.

Great course

This is another course in the Disney area that tends not to disappoint. The two nines are similar in that they are both tree lined on the holes to and from the clubhouse, and both have more open fairways in the middle of the nine. I think it works well.

The course conditions were very good, and with good practise facilities and a great looking clubhouse this is worth a trip if you're in the area. There was also a very warm welcome in the pro shop.

Good course

Well maintained not over long but good distance for my level, Sun was shining so after playing in wet cold England it was great, but no standout holes.
