Lakewood Ranch is a master-planned community set on 8,500 acres of land in the Bradenton/Saratosa area of Florida. The community consists of seven 'villages' offering housing, schools, shops, bars and restaurants. However, over 4,000 acres of the estate has been dedicated to parks, trails, tennis courts, golf courses and other recreational areas.

Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Cluboffers three 18 hole golf courses - The Cypress Links, King's Dunes andRoyal Lakes courses. All are superbly designed, built and maintained but each offers a different challenge.
CYPRESS LINKS- opened in 2001 is an 18 hole, Par 72, designed by Arnold Palmer and Vicki Martz,stretches to7,141 yards from the back tees and has a course rating of 74.3 and a Slope of 133.
KING'S DUNES- opened in 2004 is an 18 hole, Par 72, designed by Arnold Palmer and Vicki Martz,stretches to7,324 yards from the back tees and has a course rating of 76.3 and a Slope of 145.
ROYAL LAKES- opened in 2007 is an 18 hole, Par 72, designed by Rick Robbins,stretches to7,339 yards from the back tees and has a course rating of 74.6 and a Slope of 125.
All courses are maintained to a very high standard, all are challenging but with the use of multiple tee positionseach course can be enjoyed by golfers of varyingability.
