DESCRIPTION:

Remington Golf & Country Club was voted Best New Course by Golf Digest Magazine when it opened in 1996.

Boasting an 18 hole Championship length course is generally considered by most Orlando residents as the locals favourite.

The course was designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design Group in acontemporary fashion but in a mannerwihich tries to be a fair but challenging course. The result is avisually striking course with generous landing areas for your tee shot and huge greens but lots ofwater and numerous bunkersto add challenge. Remington Golf Course hasfairways and greens of Bermuda grass.

The course is golf buggy only (no walking).

Visitors are welcome. Contact club to make arrangements.

Convenient for the airport, and enjoyable round.

Interesting course, but with every fairway flanked by either water or houses. I didn't hit any houses but found the water on 4 occasions. It was busy and well used but still in pretty good condition, and good value.

Okay course

There was a warm welcome at the pro shop, which is a nice way to start your round. The course itself is through housing, and when there isn't housing bordering the fairway, there's frequently lots of water. The tees and fairways weren't the best that I've encountered, but the greens were pretty good. None of the holes jumped out as particularly memorable.

If you're in the neighbourhood and you can get a deal then give it a go, but I wouldn't travel too far to play here.
