DESCRIPTION:

Ventura Country Club was built in 1980. It has fairways and greens of bermuda grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers. The course is golf buggy only (no walking). Visitors are welcome.

short course, but tricky greens

Not a long course, and maybe not exactly a hidden gem, but it did have its moments. There are a few tricky holes, such as the 13th where you have to decide just how much of the water you want to go over from the tee. The safer you go, the longer the 2nd becomes.

The biggest defence the course has is probably the greens, most of which have a decent amount of slope on, and when I played the course today they were like lightning. There's lots of water here too.

Lots of housing around, most of which is fairly safe from errant golf balls. But not all...
