The Sara Bay Country Club was originally designed by Donald J. Ross and opened in 1925.
The course was subsequently redesigned by Joe Leein 1980 to give the course of today.
The fairways are lined with pine and oak trees, and many of the landing areas are well bunkered. Plus thecourse has domed greens that are steep and difficult to read. In all the course invites a lot ofrisk taking, but accurate shots are certainly rewarded.
Sara Bay hasfairways and greens of Bermuda grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
