Sycamore Hills Golf Club was built in 1989. It has fairways and greens of bent grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers. Visitors restricted, contact club for details.Perhaps the Finest Golf Club in the Midwest. The holes flow effortlessly along these rolling hills, first deeded by Andrew Jackson in 1835. The narrow Aboite River flows gently through tall sycamores, burr oak, and spruce, skirting greens and flirting with fairways. But it is a deceptively relaxed pastoral setting. Sycamore Hills gives little away.Marked by generous fairways, peninsula greens, waste bunkers and white sand, the Sycamore Hills course has inherited from its natural terrain a powerful character and a stunning aesthetic.
