Originally called Sea Gull Golf Club and built in 1970 the club was taken over by the Classic Golf groupin 2006 and underwent extensive renovation under the eye of Thomas Walker andthen reopened in 2008 asthe Founders Club at Pawley Island.
The course is long and toughbut with five sets of tees the course can play from 7,007 yards to 5,506 yards meaning teh coursecanbe enjoyed by players of all ability levels.
It has fairways and greens of bermuda grass, water hazards and some bunkers. Visitors are welcome.
