Willbrook Plantation Golf Club opened in1988.
The course, designed by Dan Maples, islaid out on low lying land previously used as rice plantationsand offers a fantastic challenge in a beautiful setting..
With multiple tee positionsthe course can be played from 7,155 yards down to 4,956 yards.
Thecourse has beenranked 25thinGolf for Women magazine's list of top 50 courses for women and it's not hard to see why. However, don't begin to think it's an easy course, water is in playon many of the holes and, although the fairways are generous, they are all tree lined plus there is the numerous integration ofwater hazard and the strategically placed bunkersto contend with.
In all, Willbrook Plantation is a fantastic golf course in the Myrtle Beach areaand one which, because of the multiple tee positions, can be enjoyed bygolfers of all ability (women and men!).
The coursehas fairways and greens of Bermuda grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
The course is golf buggy only (no walking).
