I have got to say I shot myself in the foot yesterday, not watching the singles in the Ryder cup, after the first 2 DAYS. This is something I regret doing now but in the end I was the only loser. I'm sure I will get the DVD for an xmas 'pressie.

I have watched the highlights and WOW!!  What tension and drama,  (My Mrs had Downton Abbey on instead) That was about the family up north OOOOOOHHHHHHHPPPPS not supposed to say anything about it because I will ruin it for John A. Sorry.

ANYWAY,watching the last putt of the game by Tiger,he missed it.Nothing hard about it no pressure for him the cup was already won. DID HE MISS THIS DELIBERATELY? I think he did after waching this played back a few times.Have another look and see what you think. Tiger missing from that distance,it does not make sense?

Tiger should never play in the Ryder Cup.  He isn't a team player.  He SO didn't care about that last putt.  We don't care either.

In hindsight, and as we all know its a wonderful thing, I wonder if olly would have been better served instructing molinari to shake hands on the 18th fairway.

As it was woods was left to make the sporting gesture and perhaps it has allowed the yanks to take the moral high ground somewhat.

I dissagree with this.

With Woods still further away and putting for a 5 I think he just gave up rather than allow Molinari to beat him by sinking the putt for a 4.

I don't think Woods is that great at sporting gestures....anyone who spits on a golf course like he did on Sunday [it's not as if he has just run a 10k] does not get anyone to a moral high ground!

Hear hear John W. Woods absolutely gave up.
I'm watching it again now on Sky. It is still electric viewing. Poulter SOOOOOOOOO deserves to be SPOTY.

I think at that point in the tournament he had mentally checked out. If he was still in "grind mode" he would have made Molinari putt out.
