I hope this is appropriate and just seen as giving information to members....

A friend of mine has just opened a golf shop in Chelmsford, and if you would like indoor lessons away from the wind and rain, he is a qualified golf instructor and has a state of the art virtual golf simulator for use with lessons and testing of clubs if you are looking to buy.
his name is Ryan and his mobile number is 07930 922947 if you would like more information

Well there it is, and if i shouldnt have posted here (TSG Team), I apologise in advance. I am not getting anything out of anyone going to his shop, and I assure you he will look after you whether you mention me or not too. be happy and good golfing folks.

If you want to know any more, get in touch, as I am sure putting up an advert for his shop would be rather dubious. The post was merely for peoples reference

Hi Andy,

We have no problem with you making this recommendation on the site, this is one of the reasons for the TSG Forum, a place in which members can share info and advice.

Where we do object, is when such postings are a clear case of 'Spamming'' usually identifiable by a new member who has recently joined, made no other comments or input (other than a fake profile) and yet are posting links etc. promoting third party services - as you all know, we work very hard to protect members from this and any such activity and it normally results in their deletion from the site immediately! OK, Big Brother speech over....

In your case Andy, I think it is safe to say that you are clearly just wanting to share you local knowledge with other TSGers, so no need for any apologies!

I hope that clarifies the situation.

Happy Golfing!
